SNACKERS AND DRINKERS

Beware 'sports' cola, fruit and sweet drinks as the acids can dissolve teeth and the sugar can cause decay.

Mostly when exercising, drinking water is best.
Avoid snacking on sweet food and 'energy' bars, and remember frequent sugar intake can result in rapid and serious decay.
Coaches should advise elite athletes on the use and dental risks of sports drinks.
